By all accounts, India is all set to review the currency rate between the two countries very soon. At present one hundred Indian rupees is equivalent to Nepalese rupees 160 and according to this fixed rate, the rates of other foreign currency, including the US dollar are set.
That this fiscal agreement was going to be reviewed that was reported by the People’s Review some months back. In that report a high ranking Nepali industrialist had revealed to this Weekly that none less than the then Indian Finance Minister P Chidabaram had told him about India’s plans of making her currency convertible in the international market. As our currency's exchange rate is fixed with the Indian currency, our currency would face serious setback after the Indian decision, this Weekly had explained. But the concerned sector didn't take the issue seriously at that time.
“I don’t know why our political leaders and economists are not doing anything about this, which can finish off our whole economy,” he had then said.
Now also, reliable sources claim that the Nepali economy would totally cave in, if this policy of India is implemented. “There are reports that India has made an elaborate plan to implement this plan,” one source said and he warned that the new rate of the Indian currency could go as high as Nepali rupees 215 to 250 for one hundred IC after that decision of India.
Another alarming factor is that there seems to be a well worked out plan to first create a shortage of Nepali currency in the market. This could be done both by India buying Nepali currency for a short term and also by panic buying of foreign currency by the Nepalese themselves. “Most of the Nepalese industrialists and prominent people hardly have any Nepali currency, they have already whisked away their hard cash to foreign banks or bought foreign property,” another source said.
According to a Rastra Bank source, it would not be that difficult for a country like India to buy large amounts of Nepalese currency to make a success of a political and economic agenda.
He added that if the present plan of the Indian policy makers is a success, then the price of one US dollar could go higher than NC Rs. 100. This would take a terrible toll on the country’s economy and would further aggravate the already difficult conditions of the average Nepali individual.
“If such a situation comes, no government would be able to exist in Nepal and the successfully functioning banks of the country would turn bankrupt,” a senior economist warned.
This could be a deliberate plan of India to make Nepal a failed state and make it easier for it to impose its policies in this troubled nation.

Tharus protest and role of Media
The Nepali media didnot support the Tharu movement and neither the UN agencies or foreign embassies Like they did earlier. In the Madhesh movement, Indian embassy was more active for the right of madhesh and ethnic rights. But in Tharu movement it distanced itself. Everyone know the intention of India and its active role in Madhesh. But there is no madhesh in Nepal. There is terai and the Tharus are the original inhibitants of terai.
The madheshi parties cal for the right of madheshi who are bihari but they don't talk of Nepal's land encroached by India.
The Bihari influence in terai supported by Indian embassy in Kathmandu and Birgunj consulate is open secret.
The media has also not played its role effectively in the tharu movement as fear Indian embassy.
The RAW propaganda machine Apca and its publications himalayan times and annapurna post didnot give importance to tharu protest which is open as it was against their mission of disintegrating Nepal.
The Raw gives month training on Nepal's politic beforeww sending its people in Apca. RAW also teaches them Nepali so that they can understand and communicate in Nepali. Their work is to send all the informations to delhi headquarters. Apca is a randi khana where all the Indian have two two Nepali girls for themselves as theiur sex slaves. They not not only involve in newspaper business but Apca is involved in Nepali girls trafficiking and housing, and manpower. The newspapers are run by Indians for indian authority not for Nepal and Nepali and the 80% staff are Indian.
Such Raw propaganda machine should be closed to save the nepal's soveriegnty and save the country. let's give rights to Tharus, who are the originals people froim terai.
Today three people, a police officer, a protestor and a pedestrian were killed in Chitwan District. But the Nepali media didnot took any interest to report as they are run by the Indian embassy and paid by the Indian embassy.
In the fifth day of the indefinite period closure of Nepal's Tarai belt called by the Tharuhat United Struggle Alliance (TUSA), protesting against the government's decision to classify the indigenous Tharu Community in the Madhesi category, the three people had lost their lives.
The death of the police officer took place after he was attacked by a sharp knife by the protestors, another officer scrummed to minor injuries in the attack.
Fatally injured Kumar Budathoki- the police officer later died at the Bharatpur Hospital.
A Tharu protestor Kamal Chaudhari died last night who was severely thrashed by the police and a pedestrian who was injured by bullets fired by the police is also declared dead.
In Chitwan district alone more than Two dozen protestors, Sixteen General Police officers and Four Armed police officers are admitted to a nearby hospital.
In the mean time, the Tharu protest continues in Chitwan district defying curfew orders imposed by the District Administration Office.

Indian expansionist and its real face
Pranav Mukharji's Statement: A question mark on our sovereignty?
Dear Friends,
In an interview to Arabian television All Zazera, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of India, Pranav Mukharjee, he said that Maoist have come to the peace process and the government under the initiation and influence of India. He has ignored the sacrifice of other political parties, civil societies and the brave Nepali people who sacrificed their life for the peace and historical transformation. If it is really true, the present change that Nepal is experiencing is due to India and not due to the effort of Nepali people. Then the change or so called political development is on the greater interest of India than of Nepal. India's role also could not be undermined. They must have played some role from the diplomatic level. But isn't it the total disrespect to Nepal and its independency that India is taking credit whatever the positive development Nepali people have brought out. If India really wants Nepal to be peaceful and prosperous, Does it have a gut to solve the refugee problems that has also affected Nepal. Why are the political parties keeping their mouth shut in such a direct intervention in this issue by such a higher profile politician?
We believe that the historical movements led and carried out by Nepali people are the major driving factor to bring about the historical changes in Nepal. The international communities have no share at all.
Koshish strongly condemns such type of gross attack and intervention by any foreign forces in the name of peace and development and comes to fore to protest against such acts.
Koshish is the movement led by highly patriotic Nepali youths to reach each and every Nepali citizen's mind and heart with a nationalistic message that we must struggle and fight for the peace and betterment of our society and the nation protesting against the undemocratic attack of any sort by foreign forces.
In this regard, Koshish tries to create a networking and platform for or of all the patriotic youths of Nepal to fight for our nation's independency and sovereignty. The time has come for all the youths to gather and utilize the strength to carry out a long lasting struggle till we become a dignified citizen in the eyes of foreign forces.
Therefore, Koshish would like to invite respected people and young friends to take part in the action oriented discussion program.

Sood meets Prime Minister
Indian ambassador to Nepal Rakesh Sood called on Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal at the latter's official residence in Baluwatar Tuesday morning.
Bilateral issues including border security, preparations for power purchase from India, and the current political developments in Nepal were chiefly discussed at the half-hour long meeting that started at 7:30 am, it is learnt.
Meetings between the Indian ambassador and top political leaders are often considered politically significant and this one comes a day after 18 political parties in the Constituent Assembly decided to urge the Prime Minister to call early parliamentary session to decide the bills that are being introduced by the government through ordinance.
The RAW is also active and held meeting at Annapurna Hotel and Yak and Yeti Hotel last week in the presence of RAW agents active in Nepal in the name of APCA. The selected Madheshi leaders and congressi leaders took part in the meeting called in the name of The Himalayan Times and Annapurna Post. The special Indian agents active in Nepal and hold talks with various Congress political leaders and UNL political leaders and briefed them on future plan.
The Himalayan Times and Annapurna Post are backing Rishi Dhamala because Dhamal is also a RAW agent and these two newspapers are RAW propagande machine. The RAW agents are openly in the name of newspaper directing the political leaders to do what India wants. Dhamala is not a single case Indian embassy and RAW is using most of the Nepali journalists like Dhamala for information collection. Himalayan Times and Annapurna Post is just a show piece.

Nepali team denied entry
House team denied entry
The Indian Embassy on Sunday prohibited the team of Foreign Relations and Human Rights Committee of the Legislature-Parliament from going to Sandakpur while the team was heading toward Phyalot of Panchthar district via Sandakpur to inspect the encroached land in the Nepali territory.
In order to go to Panchthar, one has to use Indian land via Sandakpur. "Saying that it cannot provide security to the team members during the visit, the embassy denied us permission to go there," said Padma Lal Bishwokarma. The team arrived here on Saturday to inspect the border areas in the eastern part of the country following media reports of land encroachment at various points by Indian side.
---------------
A team of Foreign Relations and Human Rights Committee at the Legislature-Parliament, which began field study on encroached land in various bordering areas of the eastern districts on Saturday, reached the conclusion that the Indian side has encroached Nepali land at different points on various pretexts.
The team led by committee Chairman Padma Lal Bishwokarma said on Sunday that land in Manebhanjyang, Pulkhola, Simana, Phatak, Hile, Chhabbise and Guphapatal have been encroached.
“It's an issue of grave concern as the land being cultivated by Nepalis for years have now become parts of Indian territory,” said Bishwokarma, adding that the recently prepared map of border areas cannot be regarded as reliable for the demarcation between the two countries.
The team, which held inter-actions with locals, administration, human rights activists and police, came to such a conclusion after inspecting the encroached land in the areas.
“We will submit the report of our field study as soon as possible to exert pressure on the government to find amicable solution of the problems,” he added.
According to team members, security personnel of Seema Suraksha Bal (SSB) -- an Indian paramilitary force deployed along Nepal-India border -- has also set up its camp inside Nepali territory in Pulkhola of Pashupatinagar.
The SSB has set up another camp at Hile of the district- in the no-man's-land area- the delegation said.
At Guphapatal, SSB force had set up its camp near a border pillar which they had removed despite protests by locals. A house and a school have also been built in the no-man's-land in Chhabbise area by the Indians.
“In most of the areas we inspected, it was found that chunks of land have been encroached upon by the Indian side,” said Kamala Thapa, a team member.

Nepa bans Indian movie
Indian did it again and they will never learn to respect other. They think they are superhuman. Down with Indian expansionist !!!
Six years after Nepal banned a section of Hindi films due to erupting violence, the new Maoist-led government Thursday officially banned Bollywood's first Kung Fu comedy 'Chandni Chowk to China' after continued public protests over its misrepresentation of the Buddha's birthplace.
The formal ban by the ministry of information and communications came as cinemas in Nepal had on their own stopped screening the controversial film Wednesday.
The government move followed street protests by students, who said the film was an attack on Nepal's territorial integrity and sovereignty with its false claim that the Buddha was born in India.
"The Buddha was born in Nepal; learn to respect Nepal's identity and sovereignty," students screamed during a protest rally before an engineering college in the valley Thursday. In the Lainchaur area near the Indian Embassy in Kathmandu, protesters marched in silence, waving placards.
A group of protesters also handed over a memorandum to the Indian embassy.
All Kathmandu Valley cinemas hurriedly dropped the Akshay Kumar-Deepika Padukone starrer and began showing the earlier Bollywood release 'Ghajini' or Nepali films.
"The trouble was created by the narration in the film," said Nepali film director K.P. Pathak, who heads the Nepal Film Directors' Association that is urging audiences to boycott all foreign films that project wrong messages.
"About five minutes into the film, the narration introduces the hero as someone born in India, the Buddha's birthplace," Pathak told us.
The Buddha was born Prince Siddharth in Lumbini in south Nepal in 623 BC. Thousands of pilgrims and tourists visit the area every year to pay their homage.
Before being released in Nepal on Friday, 'Chandni Chowk to China' was viewed by Nepal's censor board which objected to the dialogue. Subsequently, the distributors deleted it.
But though the offending dialogue was removed, the word got around and students stormed the deluxe Jai Nepal cinema Wednesday, tearing down posters of the film.
Remembering the violence that flared up in 2000 after comments were wrongly attributed to Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan, the distributors of 'Chandni Chowk to China' Wednesday decided to can it.
The RAW installations in Kathmandu like APCA house should also be closed as soon as possible otherwise such anti-Nepal acrivities wil never stop as the Indian embassy and APCA are plotting againtrs the sovereignty of Nepal. 90 per cent of the APCA staff are Indian from Darjeeling, Sikkim, Kalimpong and its running a campaign for Indiam idol also. Nepal government should ban all the RAW offices in Kathmandu.

Let Pashupati make free of Indian crooks
Let Pashupati and the whole Nepal free of Indian crooks.
A sovereign country Nepal has eveery right to make decision that are beneficial for the country. Why the hell Indian cry here. They have been looting Nepal and manipulatiung Nepalese citing century old relationship ; But what has Nepal gained from thoses bastard Indians, they have always been looting us and in return giving one ambulance building one school.
Nepal doesnot need the criocodile's tears of bastard Indians. If they are big, so what; their heart is too small, smaller than chicken. And the big mouth Indians should be smacked from pashupati, and from Nepal. If they are capable why are they here. If they are not making money, they will not be here.
Can Rakesh Sood keep SSB out of Nepal's border, otherwise why is he barking?
Indian ambassador Rakesh Sood on Wednesday said that the bilateral relations between Nepal and India would not be affected though the controversy over the appointment of new Nepali priests at the Pashupatinath temple have disappointed some of the Indians.
Why should be?
Can a Nepali ambassador go on gioving speech in India? Thenm why let this dhoti freek everywhere? Senf this crook bank. We don't need any Indian crooks.
India’s Samajbadi Party Mulayam Singh Yadav and Amar Singh regretted the Maoist-led government and dubbed the replacement of the south Indian priests with new Nepali priests at the temple a politicisation of the time-honoured tradition.
They are motre bastartd than any body on earth as they visit Pashupati to meet Bhatta not Pashupati. Go back to India and do politics over religions don't try to scatter your garbage in Nepal.
Bharitiya Janata Party Lal Krishna Advani expressed dissatisfaction over the controversy of appointment of Nepali priests at Pashupatinath temple, one of the holiest shrine of Hindus. Why should he cann he smacvk Soniya the christian inj his country? Then why hue and cry in Nepal.
Down with Indian imperialists !!!
KIck all Indian out of Nepal. They have done more harm to Nepal than good. WE have thousands of instances and examples for Indian evil in Nepal.
Save Nepal from evil Indian encroachment !!!
Close all RAW officies like Himalayan Times in Nepal.
